My Fiancé and I hosted our engagement party here for about 70 people. The location was amazing, plenty of room, great atmosphere and the food was amazing. All out of guests couldn’t stop talking about the jerk chicken pasta the next day. I’d definitely recommend hosting an event here or even just coming in to get drinks and food. And as a bonus, they have a bunch of board games available to play. 10/10 spot.

Everything about this place is a vibe! My fiancé and I had our engagement party at this venue and we weren’t disappointed. From the yummy eats, sick artwork, to all the cool options like a 360 photobooth, board games and themed gamer drinks, it is a place I will continue to go back to in the future! It’s like it was made for me and I couldn’t recommend it more!

I highly recommend Gomoku Restaurant in North Oshawa for parties and catering events. It's very spacious, clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Best of all is the food, which is an Asian/Caribbean fusion. My top recommendations: jerk pasta, buttered chicken with plain rice, and fried plantains and garlic bread.

Had an event here for my friends engagement party. We had a lot of fun and had no issues. The food was great and the decor pretty eye catching. Loved the anime inspired mural. The bartender was excellent, forgot his name but he recommended some really delicious drinks. I would come back here again if I needed to have a private event.
